Few microlensing events have been detected towards the LMC and SMC, showing that the experimental optical depth is lower than the theoretical one assuming a Halo entirely comprised of Machos. On the other hand, towards the center of our Galaxy, where one probes the disk and bulge matter, the 200 events found by MACHO and OGLE indicate an excess of a factor 3 of microlensing events . These results seem to be in contradiction with galactic dynamics, stellar counts and local potential studies. EROS is surveying a large solid angle, 80 degrees\^2, towards the galactic center, which will allow us to map the microlensing optical depth and thus to better understand the Galactic structure. Preliminary results from two years of data towards the center of the galaxy will be presented.
