The production rate of antiprotons in cosmic-ray interactions depends on physical and astrophysical parameters which are yet not well understood. Although p + p → bar p + X cross sections, for example, are fairly accurately known, the corresponding energy degrading differential cross section, fracdσdE, for bar p + X → bar p + X' is still uncertain. Moreover, the production rate depends on the spectrum and composition of primary cosmic rays as well as their path lengths and propagation model. In this talk we will present our calculation of the antiproton spectrum with different possible input parameters and propagation models and discuss bounds from which evidence of exotic sources may be inferred.
