Recent contributions of Japanese astrophysicists are reviewed. The confirmation that the current neutrino count rate from the sun is only a third of that predicted by the standard model is summarized. Findings on X-ray continua from quasars and Seyfert galaxies and on gamma-ray sources are addressed. Results of searches for spatial and/or spectral lumpiness in the cosmic microwave background are considered.
