Infrared Telescopes: Control Systems
Scientific paper
The IR simulator is a 1.5 m infrared telescope with the alt-azimuth mounting of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan at Mitaka in Tokyo. Its aim is not only to test observational instruments for the SUBARU telescope, but also to gain experiences of the initial adjustment phase of the telescope. In this report, the details of its control system are described.
