3D numerical simulations of incompressible thermal convection in the presence of rotation have shown both a marked difference from (vortical plume interactions, mean thermal gradients, Ekman pumping, {\it etc}) and similarity to (boundary dependent hard- and soft-turbulent heat-transport scalings) its non-rotating counterpart. An understanding of these results should aid the development of proper parameterizations for solar structure and stellar evolution models.
