The IUE Uniform Low Dispersion Archive (ULDA) comprises absolutely calibrated extracted spectra corrected for exposure times and with intensity transfer function corrections. To facilitate access to the ULDA, the ULDA Software Support Package (USSP) was developed. The USSP enables astronomers to select interactively any images contained in the ULDA and provides facilities for efficient intercomputer data transfer. A selection of output formats is available so that the user can retrieve the spectral data in a form immediately suitable for a chosen data-analysis system.
