The UV spectra of central stars of planetary nebulae (PNCS), obtained with the IUE, were used to investigate the fundamental stellar parameters of these stars. All the low resolution data of PNCS observed before Jan. 1, 1984 were examined. From non-LTE model atmospheres information on the color temperature in the UV range for those PNCS observed with a relatively good signal-to-noise ratio in the short and in the long wavelength range of IUE is obtained.
