Line intensities of Ga II at 1414 A and Ga III at 1495 A are surveyed on high-dispersion IUE spectra of 7 stars classified as UV gallium stars on low dispersion IUE spectra. The Ga II line intensity in HD 124224 is found to be weaker in all 11 high dispersion spectra than that expected from the spectral classification criteria. The remaining six stars show the strong Ga II line consistent with the classification criteria. A cross-check with the help of high dispersion spectra must be effective in classification based on low dispersion spectra.
