By applying the method of ``Visible Time Interval'' to early Chinese records before 600 A.D. of lunar occultation of stars, a mean value for the secular acceleration of Earth's rotation ω has been obtained for the first time from these records where the hour of occultation is not stated. From 83 carefully selected records, I found ω = -49.7 +/- 4.2 s/century2. The adopted lunar tidal acceleration for the calculation was n = -22.44''/century2. Stability of the solution is discussed.
