We present an analysis of the rms amplitude of p-mode oscillations for different heights in the solar atmosphere, as a function of spatial resolution. Two different reduction methods are used to simulate limited spatial resolution. The dependence on spatial resolution can be approximated by power laws. We do not find significant differences between the exponents of the power laws obtained for the various spectral lines we have analysed. Also, the results of the two reduction methods differ only by a small amount.
