The Canadian Network for Observational Cosmology Field Redshift Survey (CNOC2) is currently the largest galaxy sample at intermediate redshifts 0.1 < z < 0.6, and contains some 5000 galaxy redshifts accompanied by extensive UBgRI photometry. Some first results on the evolution of the luminosity, clustering, spectral, and star formation properties of the CNOC2 survey galaxies will be presented, compared to corresponding results from other samples at both lower and higher redshifts, and discussed in the context of models of galaxy evolution.
