Faint star clusters located in the periphery of the LMC at distances larger than 4.6 deg from the rotation center have been measured by means of star counts in order to examine their observed dynamical properties. The derived density profiles show generally relaxed shapes, and their total masses are found to be not greater than 100,000 solar masses, systematically smaller than those of the bright disk LMC clusters.
