In order to increase the efficiency, reliability, and cut quality of the
mask generating YAG laser system, several improvements have been made to
the hardware and software. High quality cuts with a low number of passes
have been the goals in producing unique multi slit aperture masks. The
description of these improvements and their results is presented.
