A low-resolution CCD spectrometer has been installed at COAST to provide
multi-wavelength fringe measurements across the band 650-950 nm. The
measurements are based on the analysis of time-series of channeled
spectra. Laboratory tests and stellar observations are presented. The
advantages and limitations of the system are discussed.
