The Midcourse Space Experiment (MSX) surveyed a 6\arcdeg x 6\arcdeg region of the Orion Molecular Complex (centered at 5() h 36() m, -3arcdeg 33') at mid-infrared wavelengths (4.6--26mu m). The image data have a resolution of 18\arcsec and a sensitivity of 5-10 times that of the IRAS data of the same region. Structures visible in the IRAS images resolve into filamentary structures in the MSX data. We present preliminary results of this survey which include the morphology of the dust emission in four of the the MSX IR bands (centered at 8, 12, 16, and 22 mu m), especially those emitting in the PAH bands at 8.6 and 11.3 mu m. MSX also made low resolution, broadband UV (1430-1760 Angstroms) observations of the area, which show the heating of the PAH features. We present the gross physical properties of the region, including results from the the far infrared as revealed by the IRAS data.
