We have obtained high S/N CCD MK classification spectra (3.6 Angstroms /
2 pixel resolution) of a total of 19 pre-main sequence and ZAMS A-type
stars in the young open clusters NGC 2264 and NGC 7160 and of a sample
of 27 Ae stars. We report on the spectral types of these stars, and the
discovery of lambda Bootis stars among these young objects.
