A search for variability in the extreme helium star LSS 3184 shows at
least one frequency (period ~0.107d semi-amplitude ~0.01 mag in B) and
the first harmonic. This agrees with the prediction by Saio that the
star should pulsate, unless very metal-weak, due to the classical kappa
mechanism and the iron opacity bump near 2x10^5K.
