We present selected results from the IRAC Galactic Guaranteed Time Observations programs on star formation. We find that Spitzer is sensitive to emission from young stellar object disks and envelopes, and present classification schemes and spatial distributions for young stars in embedded clusters, bright-rimmed clouds, reflection nebulae, and nearby dark clouds.
This work is based on observations made with the Spitzer Space Telescope, which is operated by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology under NASA contract 1407. Support for this work was provided by NASA through Contract Number 1256790 issued by JPL/Caltech.
