NGC147, one of the companion dwarf ellipticals to M31 is thought to be the best nearby example of a classical old stellar population galaxy, other than several of the dwarf spheroidal galaxies orbiting the Milky Way. We will obtain very deep frames in V and I in order to study the color- magnitude diagram and luminosity function of individual stars making up NGC147. These data will reach to near the main sequence turn off, and will provide constraints on the age of the stellar population in this object. Shorter exposure frames of the center of NGC147 will be obtained to search for any unusual objects which may be present.
