We find that a sample of runaway B stars which have traveled at least 1 kpc from the galactic plane has a significant deficit of stars with vsin(i) < 50 km/s compared to the distribution of rotational velocities for B stars found in the galactic disk. Furthermore, there is no correlation between observed vsin(i)'s and calculated initial ejection velocities for these stars which would indicate a direct link between the runaway ejection mechanisms and their rotational velocities. However, the dearth of slow rotators in our sample can be explained if the ejection mechanisms which accelerate runaways discriminate against slow rotating B stars by: 1) preferentially ejecting single stars without binary companions, 2) ejecting runaways from star forming regions before braking occurs, and/or 3) more efficiently ejecting stars from star forming regions which preferentially form fast rotating stars.
