The PMN survey revealed a total of 36640 sources at 5 GHz over 4.51 steradians of the sky to a limiting flux density of 35 mJy. Included in this sample was a class of sources not yet well understood or characterized: the "close" double- lobed radio galaxies, taken here to have angular sizes in the range 0.25 arcs
