Formulas are derived for a perturbation function due to the difference between a radiating sun and a point source of radiation. Formulas for secular perturbations of elements of an an elliptic orbit are obtained. Secular perturbation coefficients for two perturbing factors, namely, the sun's oblateness and the part of solar radiation pressure due to the sun's finite dimensions, are compared.
