The paper derives integrated CCD photometry in the Washington system for 62 globular clusters in 19 fields around NGC 5128 and employs the C-T1 index to derive metallicities. These show that the mean metallicity of the NGC 5128 globular cluster system is about 0.5 dex higher than that of the Milky Way cluster system. This higher abundance is similar to recent results for other extragalactic cluster systems which suggest a correlation between the metallicity of a globular cluster system and the luminosity of the parent galaxy. No significant evidence is found for a radial trend in (Fe/H)C-T1, although the innermost clusters with R less than 4 arcsec are marginally redder than the outer clusters.
