The main aim of the present work is to investigate the Active Regions phenomenon at two atmospheric layers, namely chromosphere and photosphere, as a function of stellar physical parameters, such as effective temperature, gravity, and rotation rate. For this purpose, we have analysed the correlation between the rotational modulations of the photospheric temperature and the equivalent width of the Halpha line. Our present preliminary study relates to a sample of very active stars belonging to the RS CVn group and to a few young main sequence G-K stars.
