The ACS Virgo Cluster Survey is a Hubble Space Telescope program to obtain g and z ACS imaging of 100 early-type galaxies in the nearby Virgo Cluster. One of the main goals of this survey is to study globular cluster (GC) systems in an unprecedentdedly deep and homogeneous fashion across a wide range of host galaxy properties. The spatial density distributions of GCs preserves information on both early and late galactic merging. I will present the spatial distributions of GCs in Virgo early-type galaxies and discuss the implications of these results for their formation.
