The relative numbers of blue and red supergiants in M33 are compared, based on a photographic study undertaken at the Canada-France-Hawaii 3.6 m telescope. In addition, the ratio of Wolf-Rayet to red supergiant stars is investigated. Both of these ratios show very little variation with radius, contrary to the results of several previous studies. The differences arise primarily due to the small number statistics in the earlier samples. The completeness of supergiant catalogs in our own galaxy is important to determine before differences from M33 can be claimed.
