In the paper ``A Primer on Far-Infrared Polarimetry'' by R. H. Hildebrand, J. A. Davidson, J. L. Dotson, C. D. Dowell, G. Novak, and J. E. Vaillancourt (PASP, 112, 1215 [2000]), equation (17) was set incorrectly as a result of an error in the production process. The corrected equation (17) is as follows:f(x0+nD)=-2i=1n-1(n-i)g(x0+iD) .(17)The Press sincerely regrets this error.
