Two transitions of the 2Π1/2 J = 1/2 excited state of OH at 4751 MHz and 4660 MHz have been observed with a spatial resolution of 0arcsec.5 towards the ultra-compact H II region W3(OH). The 4660 MHz line was seen in absorption against the western half of the continuum source, while the 4751 MHz line was detected in emission, over roughly the same area. The mapping results indicate differences between the two distributions which may be significant. Both however are consistent with the distribution of 18 and 5 cm OH masers.
