The SDSS-II supernova survey is a rolling search of 300 square degrees
with a redshift range extending slightly beyond 0.3. For z < 0.12,
the efficiency is nearly 100% for the detection and spectroscopic
identification of Type Ia supernova. We use this complete sample to
measure the volumetric rate with average redshift = 0.09.
