A new data base of 242 pulse width measurements near 1.4 GHz is statistically analyzed by means of Monte Carlo simulations. Different trial distribution functions for inclination angle as well as different beam shapes and radii are tested. We conclude that the inclination angle of the magnetic axis to the rotation axis is randomly distributed. The beam is circular or slightly elliptical in longitude. The angular radius of the beam is bimodally distributed with P-1/2 dependence on pulsar period for both inner and outer conal components. Latitudinal beam elongation is definitely out of the question.
