We report the discovery of a new transient source, IGR J17544-2619, with the IBIS/ISGRI detector on board the INTEGRAL observatory. The source position is RA=17h54.4m, DEC= -26d19' (equinox 2000, position uncertainty around 2'). The source was detected during an observation of the Galactic Center field on September 17, 2003 at 01h10 UTC, with a flux of about 160 mCrab, 60 mCrab and less than 15 mCrab (3-sigma upper limit) in the 18-25, 25-50 and 50-100 keV bands.
