New formulae are presented to transform CGCG magnitudes to the de Vaucouleurs BTS system. The transformations use the galaxy surface brightness and morphological type as estimated from data in either the Second Reference Catalogue or the Uppsala General Catalogue. Formulae are provided for both cases. The characteristic dispersions of the corrected CGCG magnitudes for the sample of galaxies in this study are 0m.19 and 0m.21, respectively.
