A photometric sequence by Gascoigne (1962) originally suspected of having errors about + or - 0.3 magnitude at the faint end is reobserved and improved at the faint end by addition of 16 new standard stars. The sequence, which had been used by Gascoigne to determine magnitudes and colors of giants in NGC 1783, and by Graham (1977) in a study of LMC field RR Lyrae variables, is found here to have a negligible error in V and to be too faint by less than 0.2 magnitude for B greater than about 18.0.
