A planet/comet-sun-solar companion system is considered, wherein the solar companion proposed by Davis et al. (1984) and Whitmire and Jackson (1984) acts as a perturber, and the limiting direct and retrograde orbits for a planet/comet around the sun are calculated using the formula of King (1962) and Inanen (1979). Calculations for a companion having a mass in the 0.005-0.3 solar mass range are presented, and the limiting retrograde radius is considered as the boundary to the solar system set by the solar companion. For an Oort (1950) cloud up to 150,000 AU or more bounded to the sun, in this case, the solar companion is not seen as bounding the solar system.
