The nuclear regions of the nine most optically luminous galaxies in the spiral-rich, UMa I(S) group have been searched for 12CO emission. Three of the galaxies, NGC 3556, NGC 4088, and NGC 4157, were detected and are, in addition to their 12CO and optical emission, the most luminous far-IR galaxies in the group. The role of galaxy-galaxy interactions in accounting for the observed properties of the galaxies is briefly assessed.
