The star formation region Cepheus A has been observed by means of polarimetry, high resolution echelle spectroscopy, medium resolution long-slit spectroscopy, and emission-line imagery. It is found that all 10 of the HH objects in Cepheus A are blueshifted, with the redshifted portion of the line profiles vanishing near zero velocity. There is an extended area of emission around the HH objects which contains both continuum and emission lines.
