The papers are grouped under the following headings: store-bought interferometers, interferometers in the optical store, interferogram interpretation and microprocessor-based instruments, and special interferometric techniques. Reports are presented on an infrared laser interferometer, a versatile interferometer for shop use, scatterplate interferometry, the Zygo interferometer system, and precise optical evaluation using phase measuring interferometric techniques. Other papers include: differential techniques for accurately measuring the radius of curvature of long radius concave optical surfaces, a microprocessor-based instrument for analyzing video interferograms, and real-time holographic interferometry with pulsed laser.
