Radio observations at frequencies of 151 MHz, 1.4, 2.7, and 10.6 GHz have revealed that 4C 73.08 is a giant radio source associated with a compact Zwicky galaxy 7Zw 292. Its projected linear size is 1.7 Mpc (if H-sub-zero = 50km/(s Mpc), and its properties are similar to those of other recently discovered giant sources. The existence of spectral index variations and a 'hot spot' in one component, and the large width perpendicular to the source axis of the other, give very different age estimates for the source. It is difficult to reconcile these two estimates by a simple source model. 4C 73.08 should be added to the 'complete sample' of 3CR sources listed by Jenkins, Pooley, and Riley (1977).
