The photographic magnitudes listed in the catalogs of Ames (Harvard), Reiz (Lund), and Zwicky et al. (Palomar) for galaxies in the 18° × 18° Virgo cluster area are reduced to the BT system by comparison with the 139 local standards defined in Paper VII. The systematic errors depending on magnitude, surface brightness, and ellipticity are analyzed and corrected. The mean errors of the corrected magnitudes vary from 0.11 mag (Ames, m < 13.0) to 0.27 mag (Reiz). The Zwicky catalog (CGCG) has mean errors of 0. l24).27 mag, depending on type. The zero-point difference of 0.30#).35 mag between Volumes 1 and 2 of CGCG is confirmed. Mean corrected magnitudes BTC with m.e. ≍ 0.03-0.09 mag ( = 0.055 mag) are given for 139 multiply observed galaxies having total magnitudes in the interval 9.3 ≤ BTC ≤ 14.7.
