An investigation was made of the behavior of the hydrogen lines P12 and P14 and the Ca II triplet in 39 spectrograms of the magnetic star Beta CrB obtained in the spectral region 8400-8800 A. Analysis of the equivalent widths and profiles of the hydrogen lines reveals a clear correlation of their variations with the magnetic field of the star. The observed broadening of the hydrogen line profiles at the phases of enhanced activity of the star indicate that appreciable changes take place in the physical conditions.
