Spectra obtained by Weedman with the telescopes at the MacDonald and Kitt Peak observatories were used to determine the equivalent widths and calculate the fluxes and luminosities in the emission lines for 20 Seyfert galaxies of the first type. The line intensities, and also the relative intensities of the hydrogen and forbidden lines are considered as functions of the color index and the ultraviolet luminosity of the nuclei.
