Narrow band photometry of 26 cluster members of the Pleiades has been
secured to define the alpha(16) Lambda(9)-photometric system in the B
6-A 2 spectral range. The problem of the ratio of total-to-selective
absorption is also discussed. Pleione shows photometric characteristics
of a supergiant-like star.
