Results of BVRI photometric observations are presented for 22 globular clusters in the Southern Hemisphere. The optical observations were carried out during two observing runs, in August 1988 (VRI) and March 1989 (BVRI), at the 1-m telescope of the ESO Observatory at La Silla, Chile. In both runs the instrumentation used included an optical photometer with a photomultiplier tube and a standard set of BVRI filters; the diaphragm used throughout all the observations was 31.21 arcsec. The optical observations are compared with data in the literature.
