A simple iterative method for the three-dimensional deconvolution of the X-ray light curves of eclipsing binaries is presented. The procedure allows the spatial distribution of the X-ray emission to be obtained without a priori assumptions about the localization, number or size of the emitting structures. The method is used for mapping the corona of the eclipsing binary AR Lac.
