The Besançon model of our Galaxy is an on-line simulation tool
used for various scientific applications. We present here its ongoing
implementation in the Virtual Observatory and, as a typical study case
of modelisation tool in the VO, we discuss its confrontation with VO
standards and tools currently being developed.
