The relativistic random phase approximation is used to calculate
oscillator strengths among the higher n(1.3)S and m(1.3)P states of the
helium-like ions of Mg, Al, S, Fe, and Ni. The accuracy is checked by
comparing the results of the relativistic random phase approximation for
helium-like neon with elaborate variational calculations.
