Recent progress in 10 microns to 1 mm observations of the central 100 pc of our galaxy and their interpretations are discussed. The emphasis is on the physical conditions and dynamics in the nucleus derived from spectroscopic and broadband observations of interstellar gas and dust. The radio arc and galactic center molecular clouds in the central 100 pc, the cloud and SgrA east in the central 20 pc and the circum nuclear disk and ionized cavity in the central 5 pc are discussed in detail.
