We investigate a four-dimensional cosmological model containing two scalar fields. It is derived from a dimensional reduction of the N=2, D=5 supergravity theory. Its homogeneous and isotropic solutions turn out to be nonsingular. The vacuum solutions however are found to be unstable, but this problem can be dealt with by sacrificing the isotropy of space-time, although the anisotropic solutions come out to have an initial singularity.
