The paper presents a theory for the physical libration of the moon with respect to the central axes of lunar inertia. The initial differential equations of the theory are dynamic Euler equations or equivalent Hamiltonian equations. A method for the reduction of crater positions to different coordinate systems constructed in the inertial axis space is proposed.
