Large scale microstructure of pulsar radiation is shown to be
explainable as a result of self interaction of low frequency nonlinear
cnoidal waves propagated in inner polar regions along a magnetic field
of a neutron star. Stability of these cnoidal waves with respect to two
dimensional long wavelength perturbations is discussed.
